What’s In My Carts Right Now

There’s certainly a minimalist tone to my Autumn mood board this year, and I’m choosing to think that’s all because of the lure of Swedish brand Toteme, which seems to be having a bigger moment than ever right now. Their T-lock bag is still the stuff of handbag dreams — excellent price point and size for everyday wear — and their simple yet striking shoes and separates are the perfect starting block for any capsule wardrobe that focuses on design and longevity over trends. To put mildly, I’m besatt. (That’s obsessed in Swedish, folks).

I’m also obsessed with finding the right balance with classic and trend-based items to add to my wardrobe this season. Knitwear, leather and denim are a few of the pieces that I’ll be investing in with the classics, while having fun with new footwear and accessories seems to tick all the right dopamine boxes. I’m loving Country Road’s take on a Bottega-esque white pump, while shearling-lined sandals and handbags make for a fun textural accent piece.
