Your Trans-Seasonal Dressing Starts Now

Can you smell that? It’s the start of a new season soon which means shopping is particularly fun and online stores abundant. New trends enter the chat and you can finally retire the winter gear you’ve been wearing on repeat for the last few months…. ok not entirely, but soon enough!

I’ve actually had a shopping pause for a while now and am excited to plan and strategise my spring/summer looks before I bite the bullet and buy. As my current edit shows, there’s a lighter, brighter, more playful tone for the next few months which sees old faithfuls return — ballet flats, mini skirts, belts — and tailoring separates such as shirts, pants and blazers stick around, albeit with a softer edge. After so much heaviness over the last few years, figuratively and literally, it’s so nice to see a return of youthful styles with a mature edge, case in point fisherman sandals, Mary-Janes and coloured sunnies. To be frank, I want it all and have a serious shopping itch I need to scratch so let’s get shopping!
