Elevated Weekend Wear

I’ve thought a lot about my own wardrobe and what I like to wear on the weekend and have tried to put that sensibility into picks for this edit. I’m a big fan of easy-to-wear basics with a sense of polish when it comes to my “days of rest” which are often filled with kid sports, birthday parties, market trips and local dinners.

As I’ve mentioned many times before, I try to avoid activewear when I’m actually not being active but I still put comfort and ease very high on my list of priorities when dressing for the weekend. I own a lot of Matteau and Bassike and rely on brands like these with a sprinkling of more high and low-end pieces thrown in. Cos, H&M, Zara and Arket also feature heavily in my rotation.

Give me a cotton poplin dress and a pair of sandals and I’m pretty set for anything — some cute gold earrings and a woven bag and I’ve got that infamous “day to night” look nailed.
