Winning Winter Styles Under $200

I’ve always been clear in my message that shopping and personal style shouldn’t solely revolve around big-ticket items. I’ve personally never favoured a head-to-toe designer look, and I don’t often envy that vibe on others, so it should come as no surprise to learn that I enjoy the hunt for affordable items as much as I do designer pieces.

I enjoy mixing high and low clothing and accessories and love finding new brands that cater to my style with realistic price points. I genuinely think Australian stores such as Country Road and Witchery do knitwear and winter basics really well and am loving scouring The Outnet for past-season goodies at heavily reduced prices.

My tip that I always give to anyone who asks me how I always find such great pieces at affordable stores, is to search via material when shopping online. Using search terms such as leather boots, suede sandals, wool jumper, cotton blouse, silk pants, etc will filter out a lot of the dud pieces and only give you the better-quality stuff that uses the better materials. Trust me, it works really well and will save you so much time in the long run.
