Chic Wet Weather Jackets

If you’re reading headlines about a “severe weather warning” right now, you may need a chic but practical rain jacket. Usually filed under “boring items to spend money on”, the new iteration of wet weather gear actually steps up to the sartorial plate.

I’ve always loved a very classic, rubberised rain jacket such as the Rains Hooded Coated Shell Jacket — it looks sleek but has the functional chops to pull off a downpour. I’m also really impressed with UK brand Sweaty Betty’s Motion Longline Parka, what a triumph of a raincoat! I love that it looks like a relaxed coat but actually has excellent features such as elasticised sleeves, waist and hood, a storm shield at the back and buttons at the neck and pockets. Really useful if you’re on the sidelines on a dreary Saturday morning.
